A Firebird’s Feather

Twelve Quests Book Cover Image It was 1849 and times were as tough as old boots for most people, but far worse for ten year old twins Albert and Florrie Leadington. Whilst most children had relatively safe and happy existences, this unfortunately was not the case for the twins. They had been forced to face all manner of danger and evil in their endeavours to complete twelve seemingly impossible quests as they have had to travel to far flung and distant lands in order to do this. After escaping the murderous Bluebeard and the evil clutches of the cannibalistic witch Gudrun, not to mention the malevolent Pied Piper of Hamelin and then almost being buried alive - Albert and Florrie were lucky to still be alive, especially as they only had the hapless Arthur Canarthy and roguish smuggler Ebenezer Smythe to help them.

Read on if you dare but be warned, this tale is not a funfair of delight and carefree laughter, especially as they had just been ambushed by bandits...
For their fifth quest they discover that they must find a very rare firebird's feather but clearly as with the other challenges this is not going to be an easy task what with werewolves, malevolent ghosts and their nemesis Madame Divitan casting her own brand of magical chaos across their paths...

'The Twelve Quests are simply a huge fountain of enjoyment, Ana Fischel's effervescent imagination bubbles over and flows from one captivating story to the next, leaving the reader thirsty for more!'
