Whoever invented cabin beds or bunk beds or whatever they wish to call them should be ostracised! I can't sleep on the top because of my fear of heights and this bottom bunk is altogether far too claustrophobic for words!
If only Ebenezer would stop searching through that satchel of his and go to sleep then I could just lie on the floor or something. Yes, of course, that's exactly what I'll do .... no, wait, what's that? Please tell me that wasn't a mouse scurrying across the floor ....Oh dear, I fear the worst! A ship infested with vermin that's all I need on top of everything else!"
